I'm taking some pretty difficult courses this year as opposed to last year. AP World History, Pre-Calculus with a difficult teacher, English Honors as opposed to last year's English General. I'm finding that it's actually really difficult keeping up with everything. I've been running on mostly 4-hours-a-night sleep for the past two weeks, and school's just started ahaha. Hopefully, it'll get easier as the year goes on!
For the time being, though, I'm trying my best to remain in good spirits! Viva Happy and all that! It's kinda hard, since my sleep-deprived mind makes me forgetful, so I do things like forget to bring my binder to class or leave my bag at my desk at school. But even though I'm not doing that well so far (I got a 50 on my first APWH test... sobs) I'm not doing that bad, either! And so, I gotta keep going on! And maybe, if I do well this year, I'll get some better classes next year!
Also, I'm spending more time with my dad! It's nice, I guess? Ahaha although there's some kind of awkward in there still. He said he'd teach me how to paint next summer! Looking forward to it! >w<
Speaking of awkward (ahaha I might regret this)(TMI and NSFW), I realized some things about females and Asian families and Asian females.
- It's really awkward trying to talk about masturbation with girls. ...are there even any girls that I know who masturbate?
- It's really awkward trying to talk about masturbation with Asians. Dad and Mom spent yesterday's dinner trying to figure out how to say "masturbate" in our Chinese dialect, since I was telling a story about a kid who got kicked out of the swim team for jacking off in the restroom during practice.
- Asian families have no sense of privacy. This is INCREDIBLY awkward when you're trying to masturbate. I swear, I even locked the door, but then Mom got out the master key and unlocked it!
